St. Lucia,WI.

our first photo together as an engaged couple!

two days after our engagement, adam and i joined his family in St. Lucia, a 27X14 mile long island in the west indies. it's basically my idea of paradise and not only because of the breathtaking view at every angle, or the extremely radiant sun shining and warmth, or even because of the gorgeous blue waters and white sand beaches. it's probably more of paradise for me because of the REGGAE! that's right...after being one of the only minnesotans to listen to reggae year round, i found a place that rocks out to the steel drums' finest around the clock.

a sunset from our porch which is perched up on a mountain overlooking Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island (where pirates used attack - arrrrr! :)

there was a pasture at the base of the mountain where horses just hung out. they were friendly and we could get close to them - they are so sweet!

adam relaxing - forgetting all about FHA/bank stuff :)

here's everyone! in the background are the famous Piton mountains. between the two peaks is a volcano that still smokes and creates a mystic haze. its a magnificent view.

i'd love to show all pictures and give a tutorial about the trip, but we're back in america now and i must work! amy, my future sister-in-law, is a wonderful journalist and has done a great job updating her blog about the trip. check it out (there's more photos too!)
